L’International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC), fondée en 1969, réunit chaque année des centaines de juges experts, œnologues, maîtres de chai, acheteurs et journalistes spécialisés, pour évaluer des milliers d’échantillons soumis par des producteurs du monde entier.
Le millésime 2026 est particulièrement remarquable pour les whiskies. Avec plusieurs expressions atteignant ou frôlant la perfection (99 points), la compétition confirme l’excellence des grands single malts écossais, l’ascension irréversible des whiskies irlandais premium, la montée en puissance des bourbons américains d’exception, et la confirmation des whiskies asiatiques, notamment taïwanais et indiens, comme références mondiales incontournables.
